How to maintain printed marble kitchen backsplashes

To keep your toughened glass kitchen splashback in good condition, you’ll need to: 

  • Clean daily, or as needed, with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt and debris 
  • Use gentle degreasers that can sit on the glass for 5 – 15 minutes if the surface is heavily soiled 
  • Ensure all glass splashbacks are installed 10cm away from naked flames or heat sources 
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, steel wool, or abrasive scouring pads, even on toughened glass, as they can cause scratches over time

Will people know my splashback is printed and not real marble?

Digitally printed toughened glass marble splashbacks are designed to closely replicate the veining, texture, and colour of your chosen marble type. 

However, unlike real marble, the pattern is very consistent, so it may be possible to see that your splashback isn’t real marble if a guest looks closely.
