Product Description
Side Mount Glass Juliet Balcony
Our Side Mount Glass Juliet Balcony provides a clean, contemporary safety barrier for full-height windows, French doors and other upper-floor openings while retaining an open, minimal appearance.
Each system is supplied with toughened laminated safety glass and slim aluminium side mounting profiles, available in three popular finishes:
Matt Black – RAL 9005
Anthracite Grey – RAL 7016
White – RAL 9010
Standard overall system widths are available from 1000mm to 3000mm, with the appropriate glass thickness selected according to the overall width of the balcony.
All size options shown refer to the total overall system width, including the glass and metalwork. The glass itself is manufactured smaller to allow for the fixing profiles.

Glass sizes and thicknesses
The required glass thickness increases with the overall system width.
Our standard options range from:
1000mm wide × 1100mm high
to
3000mm wide × 1100mm high
Available glass thicknesses include 12.8mm, 16.8mm and 21mm toughened laminated glass, depending on the selected width.
If you require a size that is not listed, please contact us for a bespoke Juliet balcony.
What is included?
The system is supplied with the made-to-size toughened laminated glass panel and matching aluminium side mounting profiles required for the selected system.
Your chosen finish will be supplied in RAL 9005 Matt Black, RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey or RAL 9010 White.
Side Mount or Top Mount?
A Side Mount Juliet Balcony is designed so that the fixing profiles are secured into the sides of the opening/rebate, rather than fixing through the front face of the wall.
This can provide a particularly neat installation where a suitable rebate or side fixing position is available.
Our Top Mount system instead uses profiles positioned to fix through the front-facing surface around the opening.
The most suitable option will depend on the construction of the opening and the available fixing positions.
