This 3 metre base fix channel is engineered to provide structural integrity for frameless glass balustrade installations. Supplied in 3000mm lengths, the channel accomodates multi-panel configurations and can be joined seamlessly using connector pins ot adjusted for corner applications.

The channel should be secured to the substrate with M12 anchor bolts at 200mm centres, ensuring maximum load distribution. installation is supported by an intuitive wedge system, which allows for fine glass alignement, and removable bead strips with rubber gaskets that lock panels securely in place.

Tested extensively with toughened and toughened laminated safety glass across thicknesses of 17.52mm, 19mm, and 21.52mm, the system has demonstrated compliance under line loads up to 1.5kN/m, meeting the requirements for domestic, commercial, and public safety applications.

The system is shipped with 2 end caps, drill bit, and wedge kit, while the integrated drainage holes help maintain long-tewrm performance in exposed outdoor environments.
